Reynolds at the ready…

We are delighted to have secured a massive 10 year warehousing contract with leading marine organisation, Braemer Howells, to operate as part of a dedicated taskforce in support of the Coastguard.

Braemer offer an emergency incident response service where they are on hand to clear up around coastal areas which are affected by oil and chemical spillages. They have dedicated cleaning products which are ‘loaded’ into the fuselage of a specialist plane and they are released as the plane flies over the contaminated area in the sea.

Reynolds plays the critical role of warehousing these vital provisions in a secure storage facility.  These products need to be at the ready should an urgent incident arise and then despatched to East Midlands Airport from the designated holding area… and we have just 2 hours to complete the job from the time the call is logged.

Training With Reynolds

With September 2014 fast approaching and driver demand increasing Reynolds have bought Dave Hughes in to the fold as their full time trainer.

With over 25 years of experience supporting both the logistics and aviation sectors Dave has ambitions to develop the training program currently running at Reynolds in to an all encompassing training provider.

With dedicated facilities and full JAUPT accreditation this has given Dave a platform to further enhance the training portfolio that is available to our clients.

His training accreditation's currently include Aviation Security, Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air, Road & Sea and Manual Handling Trainers Certificate. He is also a member of the CIPD holding a Certificate in Training Practice.

He has also developed bespoke courses for clients to enhance safety when operating vehicles in a hazardous environment, and also training which helps to comply with H&S regulations when operating machinery and equipment.

With his support as a consultant for the last 3 years he has helped develop the Driver CPC program. In his new full time role he intends to develop the next generation of training material which will also include an ADR accredited course.

Reynolds Logistics

On the Road with Reynolds.....

Due to increased demand  Reynolds Logistics have now added a fourth vehicle to the fleet.The introduction of our new service has helped support a number of  clients with last minute logistical problems when not only sourcing a driver becomes a issue but also a lack of equipment exasperates the problem.

The fleet is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week a can be booked on a ad-hoc basis giving our clients a very flexible service without the need for a long term contractual agreement.

The current fleet comprises of 44 tonne articulated tractor units with tautliner trailers, however combinations can vary depending on the clients needs, with daily agreements available from vans through to 18 tonne rigid vehicles.

Wilne 10K 2012

Reynolds Recruitment are delighted to be supporting the Wilne 10K road race for the 2nd year running.....

This exciting event will be held on Sunday 2nd September at the Church Wilne Water Sports Club in Draycott. For all you budding athletes or for those that are up for a new challenge you can now enter online by the visiting the Wilne 10k road race web site.

Reynolds will be sponsoring prizes for the first male and female athlete through the 5k marker and for the third male and female overall.

Attenborough Colts

Reynolds are proud to be sponsoring Attenborough Colts Under 10's Football Club. They play in a local league every Saturday morning at Attenborough village.  This new kit (being modelled by young Luke Painter) is the second strip to be supplied by Reynolds.
